In the Slender for Good community, we support each other’s success.

After Thanksgiving, some Slender Warriors were frustrated with themselves about letting more of their healthy eating go over the holidays than they intended.  They knew that beating themselves up over it wouldn’t help, but they struggled to get on a solid emotional footing again.

In this video, I speak to why this happens, and what we can do, and should NOT do, to get back on track.

Beating ourselves up doesn’t help at all– it actually interferes with our learning and growth.  Instead, we must build the muscle of self-compassion to support our forward momentum.
