I walk like a young woman again after reversing inflammation!

I wanted to get slender for GOOD– slender in a way that would LAST and slender in way that corresponded to real health improvements.

And what I discovered turned out to be something so beautiful and simple and sensible that I can’t help but share it with you.

The healthy eating principles for losing weight sustainably and for reversing chronic inflammation and for reducing risk of the chronic diseases of aging are all the same.

That’s good news!

When I recently polled people in my Slender Warriors Facebook group about topics they wanted me to address, they mentioned issues of pain and inflammation as a top priority.

I love that because it’s become very clear to me what a big deal chronic inflammation is for aging and feeling well vs feeling lousy.

It’s also become clear how much processing our food contributes to chronic inflammation and aging– and how much eating abundant highly nutritious foods can turn that back in a healthy direction.

It ends up being pretty simple– but it doesn’t happen by default. It takes clarity and intention to shift from eating 50% – 60% to eating closer to 100% highly nutritious foods. And that’s why it’s life-changing.

So check out the video below for the talk I did explaining:

  1. what inflammation is;
  2. how chronic inflammation contributes to the common diseases of aging;
  3. the evidence that changing our diet can transform issues of chronic inflammation;
  4. and the mechanisms that may underlie the effect of our diet on chronic inflammation

We know we ought to avoid or severely limit “highly processed food”— but I find most people have a poor understanding of what this means.

In this talk, I explain more about what makes highly processed food problematic and what it means. It’s important because everyone I’ve met is eating more highly processed foods than they realize.

In driving chronic inflammation, excess fat storage, excess hunger, high blood sugar, etc., our bodies are trying to solve the problem of inadequate nutrition.

I explain this in more depth in this talk. So, if you care about chronic inflammation, I encourage you to watch the recording and hear how this works in the real lives of other people like you.
