Estrogen is especially important to brain health, and women lose a major protective factor for our brain when our estrogen falls.
I certainly experienced apparent changes in my brain in perimenopause. I had brain fog and struggled to work things out lots of times.

Lifestyle factors are the biggest factor for protecting our brain, and take on a new significance as we lose the protective factor of estrogen.
There are various actions women can take to maximize our brain health, to give it new ways to recover.
