Empowering you to Live Healthy and Simply Wise

At SimplyWise, I help clients eat in a clear, nourishing way that restores calm around food and drink,
and supports sustainable health and a natural, healthy weight.

In this integrity statement, I clarify the values and principles the SimplyWise community can expect me to stand for.

  1. Results, Clarity, and Coherence.

I am committed to helping clients achieve meaningful, sustainable results in their eating, drinking, energy, and weight.

My work is grounded in a clear, coherent eating approach that has proven to be reliably effective for metabolic health and lasting weight loss—because it prioritizes generous nourishment of the body rather than restriction.

I support change through practical skill-building, mindset shifts, and habit formation strategies that make success more likely and more sustainable over time.

  1. Scientific Honesty and Respect for the Body.

The approach I use is grounded in well-established research on nutrition, metabolism, and behavior change. I am careful to distinguish between findings that are well-supported and central to results, and those that are more preliminary or individual-specific.

I help clients understand why certain principles work, while also supporting thoughtful personalization within clear, evidence-based boundaries.

I continue to stay engaged with current research and integrate new insights when they meaningfully improve outcomes.

  1. Personal Responsibility and the Process of Change.

I believe lasting change requires honesty—with ourselves, our habits, and the cultural influences that shape them.

We live in an environment that routinely promotes highly processed, non-nutritious foods as normal and benign, while undervaluing truly nourishing foods. My work helps clients see through this distortion and make choices that genuinely support their health.

I actively work to recognize and outsmart my own cognitive biases and wishful thinking around eating and drinking, and I help clients do the same—so change is grounded in reality rather than hope alone.

  1. Empowerment, Choice, and Respect

I educate clients about the principles and practices that reliably produce results, while respecting that each person is responsible for their own choices.

Based on years of study, observation, and personal experience, I believe abstaining from alcohol is often a powerful support for healthy eating, metabolic health, and lasting weight loss.

I personally choose abstinence rather than moderation.  At the same time, I honor each client’s autonomy and respect their individual path.  My role is to offer clarity, guidance, and support—not coercion.

I strive to create a supportive, thoughtful community within SimplyWise, where clients can learn, experiment, and grow with honesty, compassion, and patience, understanding that meaningful change takes time and intention.
