Michelina kept trying to eat less and less, yet her weight kept climbing. Worst of all, her health was deteriorating and it was becoming more difficult to live the kind of active life she wanted to live.
Now, at 70 years old, Michelina has so much more energy these days and enjoys a more active life. Her digestion is happy, she’s off all pain meds, and her lab results are beautiful. I got my first hot flash at 47 and, one month later, I was 13 pounds heavier. All the things I knew to do to lose weight weren’t working any more. In fact, I was just getting heavier every time I tried.

Elaine – “My sensible, healthy eating approach wasn’t as sensible or as healthy as I thought. I was overweight and putting off a lot of life activities, saying I would do that when I lose a few pounds.

Coleen’s weight was up and down her whole life, as she alternated between over-indulging and then restricting to compensate. She was highly attached with certain craveable foods and drinks, feeling it would be sad to “give them up” but, at the same time, she recognized it was a stressful way to live. Looking back, she says holding onto those “treats” left her with a “distraught, joyless mess, unable to cope with life’s many challenges.”

Krista was a successful do-it-yourself dieter and exerciser who read 400 diet books.
But in her 40s, it became clear that things were going the wrong direction. I’ve spent almost my whole adult life hiding my fat. Now, packing for a trip or getting ready to go somewhere is all so much easier because my clothes all fit comfortably. Slender for Good is set up as it is because it works.
Kristen– I dragged my feet for over a year, feeling I was too busy as a professional and a Mom. But I wasn’t feeling like myself and I was really frustrated with the weight gain. I went on hormone therapy, but it didn’t help me lose weight.
When I finally decided to really do it, the weight just started falling off. It became really easy. I’m really happy with my weight, and I never feel hungry. Jessica– is a CrossFit athlete and practices yoga, but weight gain became troublesome for her after having a baby at age 40. I’ve released 16 pounds in two months and am halfway to my dream weight. Everyone at the office keeps commenting on how slim I look. They are impressed at my healthy eating, too; they imagine it takes lots of willpower to eat so healthy, but it really doesn’t because I don’t feel hungry between meals. I can see that it’s just a smart approach for my body, and I just don’t find it difficult to do at all.
I’ve lost over 50 pounds so far and am so glad to have found this eating approach and this program. With such a super-busy schedule right now, I’m SO grateful for the energy Slender Way Eating gives me. I only started learning this 4 weeks ago and haven’t even got all the pieces in place yet, but my energy has transformed – from a 4 out of 10 to a 7 out of 10. It’s really helping me out, and I imagine it will keep improving. Pain and inflammation are diminishing and I’ve lost 8 pounds already. I have only been in the Slender for Good program for 14 weeks, but it is changing my whole life. Although I was only targeting 2.5kg, I’ve actually ended up losing 5kg and feel much more energetic now. A couple of the principles were counter intuitive for me initially and I initially was afraid of feeling hungry if I changed my routine. But I did switch over on both and now feel much better – and no longer hungry – as well as seeing the weight loss. Ginny has been very available for me – very quickly responsive to email queries and also to offer 1-1 calls.
