Health, alcohol and imposter syndrome. Isn’t red wine good for you?
I was having to face the fact that I wasn’t as healthy as I liked.
I was catching myself saying “I shouldn’t but…”
And “I deserve this.”
Eating and drinking in an indulgent way was just part of being a successful, sophisticated woman, right?!
I just completed an interesting interview with my friend and colleague, Beth Purcell, on “Health, Alcohol, and Imposter Syndrome.”
Beth is a certified This Naked Mind alcohol freedom coach and an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach who talks about feeling like a fraud and an imposter as she practiced yoga and guided others to healthy habits while maintaining a daily habit of drinking alcohol.
I am sharing the link to our interview here because I think you will really appreciate hearing Beth’s perspective on this.
She talks about how imposter syndrome resolved when she quit drinking, and how much easier it was than she imagined.
